Limited License Agreement

This agreement is between Tritone Systems, Inc (hereafter referred to as "Tritone") and the you, the user of the SynthLab Software Development Kit also called the "SynthLab SDK" and hereafter referred to as the Licensee.

Tritone hereby grants to the Licensee a non-exclusive, worldwide, nontransferable license during the term of this agreement to use the SynthLab SDK for:

the development of synth Plug-Ins or Applications or plugin projects, commercial or non-commercial
publishing, selling or otherwise distributing audio Plug-Ins or Applications under Licensee's brand name that is using parts or all of the SynthLab Software Development Kit

Restrictions on the SDK:

Unless the Licensee has express written permission from Tritone Systems, Inc, the Licensee does NOT have permission to sell, license, give-away and/or distribute the Licensed Software Developer Kit or parts of it for the use as software developer kit in any way, for example, integrated in any framework application, on any medium, including the Internet, to any other person, including sub-licensors of the Licensee or companies where the Licensee has any involvement. This includes re-working this specification, or reverse-engineering any products based upon this specification.

In case the SynthLab Software Development Kit is modified, it shall not be published, sold or distributed without express written permission and agreement of Tritone. Furthermore, the naming of the modified SynthLab Software Development Kit shall not include “SynthLab SDK” or any combination containing the SynthLab brand without permission of Tritone.

In case the Licensed Software Developer Kit is extended by additional code, it shall not be used in any other description than “(Licensees company name) extension to the SynthLab SDK”.

Redistribution of Source Code:

Redistribution and use of the SynthLab SDK in source and binary forms, with or without modification, are permitted provided that the following conditions are met:

Redistributions of source code must retain the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer.
Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer in the documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution.
Neither the name of SynthLab SDK nor the names of its contributors may be used to endorse or promote products derived from this software without specific prior written permission.
